Based on the demo on the US PS3 store

Being a big fan of the PC versions of Civilisation, I wasn’t too sure that I’d appreciate the move to console. However, I decided to look at the demo anyway. Three hours and several games later, I have added this to the list of games that I must have. While it takes a little while to become used to the controls, it didn’t take too long before I was gleefully destroying other empires. I would imagine that some of the animations could become tedious eventually, but assume that they can probably be turned off in the full game (may even be able to turn them off in the demo - I didn’t try).

Best bet, if you have a US account, grab the demo, try it, and add it to your list of most wanted too!

About time

It’s about time the Civ epic came in Hi Def. If they keep inline with release’s this should be a really great game. I rate this game on the previous version’s that I have owned from Civ II onwards.
